HI, my name is Amy and I have been an internet user for many years. I plan to give good tips on how to find just about anything you want on the WWW. I will also, tips for finding a Magickal Name, add great links to Pagan Search Engines, and other great pagan sites.
The two pictures on this page will link you to my Yahoo Group. I got the pictures from Rowans Grimoire.

Unfortunettly I don't always follow my own advice, and I don't have the url to some of this information. I wish I did, but I get so excited when I find a cool site, I just forget to bookmark it, and move on to another site, and before you know it I am wanting the url.

Weaving the WWW (world wide web)
Tip 1. When you are at a search engine, be it pagansearch, or any other search engine, and you are wanting to find a site with good spells, don't just type in Spells. Spells will get you a few good sites, but what gets better results is typing in Book of Shadows, or Grimoire. If you are looking for something specific, like recipes involving herbs; look for Herbal Recipes, Herbal Potions, or Herbal Rememdies. ~Also I just found some wonderful websites looking up Tree Resin.~ If you can't find what you are looking for, join one of my yahoo groups and ask anything you want, and I will answer you.
Tip 2. Also to get the Best Results, always look in a pagan search engine first, like avatarsearch.com, or neopagan.com, Yahoo isn't a pagan search engine, but they give pretty good results if you search for exactally what you are looking for, if you just typy in spells, you aren't gonna get the best results back.
Tip 3. When using the word Magick in a search always type the K first, then if you don't like the results you get, or are just curious, go back and type magick without the K and see what results you get then.
Tip 4. If you don't want to loose the page you are on by clicking on a link, (in case the link doesn't automatically open in a new window) just right click your mouse-and click-- open in new window.
Although many sites don't allow right clicking, Another way to open in a new window is to hold down the shift key while you click.
Also, if you ever right click on the page for anything else and you are at a site that does not allow it, Shift+F10 will bring up the same menu you would normally get.
Tip 5. Also when doing a search just type in whatever pops into your head, the other day I wanted to find more information on Herbs. I was already in the Altavista Search Engine, so to make sure I would get pagan sites, I typed Pagan,and Herbs= Pagan + Herbs in the search box. I got some great results from that!
Tip 6. If you want to learn something everyday, besides reading a book, I suggest joining a Yahoo Group under your personal choice of Paganism. I will include these links in My Links page. If you don't already have a free yahoo e-mail account- it is easy to sign up for one, and then join one of the many great yahoo groups. I have run two groups of my own. You can find the links to them on my links page, or feel free to email me.

Stay Organized
When bookmarking links in your Favorites Folder, it's best to create seperate folders for the information the links pertain too.
For instance, if you wanted to bookmark the site....
Spells.com, you would want to create a folder for sites that list spells, like a folder called Book of Shadow's or Grimoire's would work for that.
My seprate Folders are:
1. Amys Stuff- Miscellaneous Links
2. Witchcraft Stuff- Holds links to pages like
Americanwicca.com, and Wiccaweb.com, etc.
Then I have created subfolders in this folder like-
*Webrings, which has links to pagan webrings.
*Resources, which has links to places like witchesstart4all.com,goddess.com, etc.
*Witchcraft Shope, which has links to places like, onewitch.com, etc.
3. Faery Stuff- Holds links to all the Faery pages I love.
You get the general Idea now. Thats not all of my Folders, but I don't think you want to know all of them.
